Special Needs Adapted Program SNAP in the Northen Cape

The SNAP program is in our eyes as very very good program. It helps Autistic children to help themselves. It also teaches the parents / tutors how to work with Autistic Children.

SNAP is based in Durbanville, Cape Town, South Africa and children all over the world come to SNAP and when they go home the parents have a better way of handling the children.

We send our Children’s Tutor to SNAP and she enjoyed it so much. She also said that it was an eye opener for her.

Since Juanre and Ruben are in Milla class using the SNAP method they are different children. They listen to us and co operates very well.

We started the class here in the Private school in Kuruman. And we have 4 children in the class and they are working so well. We want to enlarge the Special Needs Class so that we can also have a SNAP organization in the Northern Cape. At this point and time there is only 1 SNAP organization in Durbanville. There are only about 6 schools catering for ASD children in South Africa and the need is growing. So we would like to start here and build a school for Autistic and Down Syndrome Children. That is our dream.

We need funds to do so, and we need parents to bring their children and not hide them away. They can reach their full potential, with the right education.
